National Fitness Day

Join us on Wednesday 22nd September for National Fitness Day!

National Fitness Day is your day to try some physical activity. Whether you like a walk in the park or want to sign up to a new yoga class near you. There are lots of things you can do to incorporate physical activity into your life style.

Help us raise awareness of the importance in helping everyone lead healthier lifestyles through being physical active.

Since it was created in 2010, National Fitness Day has grown to become the most important day in the fitness calendar.

Here are some 10-minute workouts that you can do at home: https://www.nhs.uk/live-well/exercise/10-minute-workouts/

I wasn’t in a good place last year, I found out I had cancer and COVID made that harder to deal with. I knew I was drinking more than I should. The hospital told me about OneSmallStep and I’ve not looked back. The regular support has been amazing, I talk to my Health Trainer Debbie each week and she really takes the time to understand what’s going on for me. I feel like I’m in control of my drinking now and that’s given me confidence to tackle the challenges life is throwing at me.
